as:

support
Normally supplied in two pieces with a telescopic middle transition
joint, the Hi-Reach lower pole is 200 to 250mm in diameter and
the pole diameter is supplied to fit the design criteria.
The maximum height is generally 11 metres, made up of two 5.8
metre aluminium tubes.
A design service for structural requirements is available from
Goldspar for a fee.
The Hi-Reach utility pole meets Australian standard AS1170.2-1989
and is made from high quality aluminium alloy 6063 or 6060.
Ground installations will vary from site to site in accordance
with usage.
Goldspar also manufactures aluminium cross arms and outreach
arms for the Hi-Reach pole or for use with other aluminium poles,
or poles made from other materials.
The Hi-Reach utility pole is particularly practical for remote
areas, mines and farms, where it is easily transported to the
site with the pole's halves nested inside each other.
Ideal for sites requiring helicopter transport, the poles can
be lifted and installed by two men, with none of the inhered
handling difficulties of heavy timber or steel alternatives.
Hi-Reach utility poles are supplied in mill finish, complete
with required accessories.
The poles are usually direct-buries in neutral to acid soils.
A HDPE caisson is available for direct-bury in alkaline soils.
Alternative base support configurations are available for installation
onto hard surfaces.
